Fewer Aussies are wearing facemasks amid the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
Only 78 per cent of Australians wore a face mask in the last week, the ABS found, down from 98 per cent in February this year.
Meanwhile, of those testing for COVID-19, 96 per cent used a rapid antigen test, up from 90 per cent in March.
However, only one per cent of Australians reported they did not expect to be able to pay one or more bills in the next three months, down from three per cent in June 2020.
