Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center Hosts Hiring Event


AUSTIN – The Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center is hosting a hiring event on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.

The facility is looking to fill dozens of positions, including direct care staff, Licensed Vocational Nurses, and Registered Nurses. These positions come with a hiring bonus from $2,500 up to $5,000. Other openings include job coaches and food services staff. Corpus Christi SSLC provides residential care for Texans with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

“We’re looking to hire people who are dedicated to helping others and want to improve the lives of our residents,” said Corpus Christi SSLC Director Melissa Gongaware. “Working at the Corpus Christi SSLC is very rewarding for both our staff and our residents.”

To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, job seekers will undergo health screenings. Face masks will be required, and social distancing will be strongly encouraged.
