After playing one of its best matches of the season in a much-needed 3-2 road win over Vancouver, the Portland Timbers head back to Texas for a date with the Houston Dynamo. In a state the Timbers (2-2-3, nine points) have struggled historically, pulling out a win would catapult Portland above the Dynamo (3-1-2, 11 points) in the Western Conference standings.
