A multiple-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 3:44 p.m. Sunday, March 13, has caused a road closure. The northbound lanes of Interstate 65 near the 154 mile marker, in Lowndes County are currently blocked as a result of the crash. Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division are asking everyone to avoid this area and, if possible, seek an alternate route. ALEA Troopers will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates accordingly.
