Lions press conference Live: Updates and breaking news from squad camp

The British and Irish Lions squad have met up in Jersey

The British and Irish Lions squad are finally together and preparations for the tour to South Africa have now properly begun.

The bulk of the squad has reported for duty at a two-week training camp in Jersey ahead of the pre-tour warm-up match against Japan on June 26.

A dozen players are absent, but the likes of captain Alun Wyn Jones are in camp and the players are getting to know each other.

The Lions will hold their first press conference from Jersey later today around 5pm and you can follow all the news as it happens here.
