Milan-Tonali alliance could be key in breaking down Brescia's resistance over €35m deal

AC Milan are looking to try and secure a discount on the Sandro Tonali deal but it will be a difficult negotiations, according to a report.

According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), the Milan management are busy planning for next season despite the fact the 2020-21 campaign only ended on Sunday, and they are also working on the permanent signing of Sandro Tonali.

The midfielder landed at Milanello last summer on a paid loan (€10m) with an option to buy set at €15m plus €10m in potential bonuses, so therefore the total cost of the operation could very well arrive at a figure of €35m. The Rossoneri will try to get a discount after a season in which Tonali only showed his quality in glimpses, but to date Brescia does not seem willing to negotiate. However, the strong alliance between Milan and Tonali could win over the resistance.
