An unsettled day as a band of rain arrives in the morning giving heavy and persistent rain, particularly in the west. Strong winds, with coastal gales. Colder than as of late, especially in any winds. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Staying unsettled overnight, with further showers and longer spells of rain. Winds strengthening further with gales becoming severe at times with strong inland gustiness in the south. A mild night. Minimum temperature 15 °C.
