3 transported following officer-involved crash in Roxbury – Boston 25 News

BOSTON — Early Monday morning at approximately 3 a.m., an accident involving a Boston police cruiser and another vehicle occurred at the intersection of Bill Hill Avenue and West Cottage Street in Roxbury.

The front end of the Boston Police cruiser was smashed in, and the airbags were deployed. The front end of a Toyota was also smashed.

Boston EMS told Boston 25 that three people were transported to the nearest hospital.

The Boston Police Department confirmed that one of the people transported was a Boston police officer. Officials added that the officer is suffering from minor injuries.

Injuries are still unknown of the other two people transported and their identities have yet to be released.

The intersection was blocked off for about two hours as police investigated and crews removed the two vehicles involved. Boston 25 News has reached out to Boston Police for more information.
