The Inova Health System this weekend opened two new community health clinics in Alexandria’s West End to serve residents.
One is a new Inova Cares Clinic for Women offering obstetrics and gynecological services.
The other is a new Inova Ewing FACT Department. It is the only program of its kind in Northern Viginia, and it provides specialized forensic medical evaluation services for children and adults who are survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse or human trafficking. This new site will help ensure victims in Alexandria do not need to travel for this type of specialized care — including children.
Both new services are adjacent to the current Inova Cares Clinic for Families and Inova Transitional Services at 4700 King Street.
