A man and a woman from Evart are behind bars this morning after leading officers on a chase.
Deputies from Newaygo County were on the lookout for the two people on Monday morning after a reported breaking and entering.
A deputy from Mecosta County reported seeing their vehicle in that county on 7 mile road.
When the deputy tried pulling them over, they took off.
The pursuit ended up taking deputies through Mecosta, Montcalm and Kent Counties.
The suspects abandoned the car in the Sand Lake area and deputies were able to arrest them a short time later.
Both have been charged with breaking and entering as well as fleeing and eluding, among several other charges.
