Hundreds of appointments available ahead of last day of MU Health Care’s vaccine clinic

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

MU Health Care is set to host the third and final day of its vaccine clinic Sunday at Faurot Field.

As of Sunday morning, MU Health Care’s website showed 554 available appointment times.

Those looking to get vaccinated do need to register through the website, however registration can be completed the same day as the vaccine appointment.

The clinic will use Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine, opening up vaccination to any Missouri resident 16 years or older.

MU Health Care said the clinic in total offered nearly seven thousand vaccine appointments to Missouri residents.

Those getting vaccinated at the event will return 21 days following their first dose, to receive their second dose at Faurot Field.
