One new COVID-19 case in NZ; Government to accept ‘game-changer’ sexual harassment report recommendations; AstraZeneca vaccine ‘very safe’ says Australia’s top doctor; First international arrivals for months land in Victoria

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said she chose to have to AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine and didn’t have any adverse reaction.

“I wanted to have the vaccine that would be available to most Australians,” she said.

“And apart from a few days of a sore arm and some symptoms, I’ve not had any adverse reaction.

“But I’m keen to hear what the medical experts have to say and I’m one of thousands that have had the vaccine had not had anything adverse.

“Of course we need to rely on health experts and take their advice and that’s something we’re looking forward to.” Australian authorities say the AstraZeneca rollout will continue despite a European agency finding links between the jab and rare blood clots.
