The OIT Surveys Service, which supports OHIO’s technology tools for research, in-class surveys, course evaluations and general information gathering, is conducting a survey tools usage evaluation. If you create and/or administer surveys, please complete this brief Survey Tools Usage Survey. The information provided will help OIT understand current survey tool usage and future needs, as the first step in the evaluation process detailed below.

The current portfolio of survey technologies, Qualtrics and Class Climate (course evaluation platform), have been in use for over 10 years and over time several additional survey tools have been leveraged by Ohio University stakeholders (e.g., Survey Monkey, Google Forms, etc.). To better align this portfolio with the changing needs of the Ohio University community, OIT is launching a survey tool evaluation process via a request for proposal. The goal of this process is to have a portfolio of technologies that support long term teaching and learning, research and other information gathering goals of the University.

If you would like to learn more about this process, or would like to provide additional feedback, consider joining the Surveys Advisory Community. This group is comprised of faculty, staff and students and meets about once a month to discuss topics and trends related to surveys and to help influence the future of surveys at OHIO.

If you need additional support or have specific questions, please contact the Service Desk.
