ARITON, Ala. (WDHN) — A woman accused of breaking into a home while high on meth on Feb. 25 is back on the streets.

According to the Dale County Sheriff’s Office, Melissa Milldrum first tried to break into a home in Ariton via a doggy door, but when that didn’t work, she busted through a window — all while being armed.

Two of the house’s occupants were found in the bathroom when police arrived.

They later determined Milldrum was high on methamphetamine.

She now faces several charges including breaking and entering into a vehicle and burglary-residence-force.

She bonded out Monday.
