TOWN OF COON, Wis. (WKBT) — Three people were arrested Tuesday after a break-in at a AT&T facility in the town of Coon, according to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff John Spears reported that his office received a call at just after midnight Tuesday morning from an AT&T employee, who reported an entry and vandalism at its communications facility along Hwy. 14 near Westby.

The deputy arrived to find the fence compromised and two men inside. Benjamin L. Britt, 47 and Jesse J. Britt, 46, both of Viroqua, were arrested without incident.

Burglarious tools were found at the scene.

Investigation also led the arrest of Shaila K. Davis, 48, of Frazee, Minn., and a red 2002 Toyota Tacoma was impounded, according to the sheriff.

Evidence from the scene was consistent with a similar incident at the same facility Feb. 16.
