Coles Supermarkets have been forced to introduce a one-per-person product limit for toilet paper and paper towels in all stores in Western Australia.

A two-pack-per-customer limit has also been brought in for items such as milk, hand sanitiser, tissues, canned meals and mince.

“Coles will continue to monitor product availability and asks that customers only buy what they need to help ensure everyone in the community has access to food and everyday essentials,” Coles said in a statement.

The move comes after widespread reports of panic buying in Western Australia following the state’s latest COVID-19 lockdown.
