Four people were charged with felonies after allegedly breaking into a car in Avon Lake and using stolen credit cards Jan. 21.
Christina Canty, 28, from Lake Forth, Fla., was charged with two counts of misuse of a credit card, a firth-degree felony, and two counts of criminal damaging, a second-degree misdemeanor, according to a police report.
Sharmeka Canty, 29, of West Palm Beach, Fla., Robert A. Green, 33, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Deavon B. Morgan, 39, from Fort Worth, Texas, each were charged with misuse of a credit card, theft, a fifth-degree felony, and two counts of criminal damaging.

Officers were called at 12:53 p.m. for a victim whose was vehicle broken into and purse stolen while parked in the 32000 block of Electric Boulevard.
It was later discovered that credit cards from the victim’s purse were used at Giant Eagle, and continued to be used at other stores out of the city, the report said.
An investigation led to the apprehension of the suspects in Westlake.
The four individuals were taken to Lorain County Jail, where they will remain pending an appearance in Avon Lake Municipal Court.
