MADISON (WKOW) — UW Health patients age 65 and older can now sign up to be notified about when they can receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
Those who have a primary care physician is with UW Health can complete this COVID-19 vaccine waitlist form.
In the coming weeks, eligible UW Health patients age 65 and older should receive an invitation to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
While this waitlist does not guarantee an appointment or replace the scheduling process, UW Health may contact patients for same day appointments if they become available.
Due to the large number of individuals who are eligible and the limited amount of available vaccine, it may still be some time before vaccinators are able to schedule everyone for a vaccination.
Health officials at UW Health asks that people do not call to check where their name is on the contact list or to ask when scheduling invitations are being sent.
