GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — David Burkard, Spectrum Health MD, took to Twitter today to explain why he chose to take the COVID-19 vaccine.
Fox 17 previously shared Burkhards experience surviving COVID-19. He was bedridden for weeks, unable to do much about it despite being in good health.

Fortunately, he did recover and now is avoiding catching the virus again by any means necessary.
