Met Office forecast for Saturday

While Wales has dodged a number of yellow and amber weather warnings in place over the UK, it still won’t be a particularly pleasant day here.

Here’s the Met Office forecast for Wales:

Today, a wet start as a band of rain, heavy at times, moves eastwards over the country. This will clear through morning, leaving a largely dry afternoon with occasional sunny spells. Becoming windy with a risk of gales along northern coasts. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Tonight, a dry evening for most with patchy cloud. Scattered showers, possibly thundery, overnight across northern areas, becoming drier again before dawn. Feeling less cold than recent nights but remaining windy. Minimum temperature 1 °C.
