On the tail end of finals week, Columbia will host two forums for students to discuss plans for the upcoming spring and fall semesters, as well as the college’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and other relevant issues.

Moderated by Brian Marth, associate provost of academic services, the forums with President and CEO Kwang-Wu Kim will be held over Zoom on Friday, Dec. 18 at 1 p.m. and Monday, Dec. 21 at 3 p.m., according to a Dec. 14 email to students.

Students must register in advance and must submit a question along with their meeting registration prior to the forums.

Lambrini Lukidis, associate vice president of strategic communications and external relations, said in order to maximize time and make the discussion process easier, the college is requesting that students ask questions ahead of time.

However, Lukidis said if students’ questions pertaining to certain topics are not addressed in the forum, they can submit their questions using the chat function on Zoom.

The meeting capacity will be limited, and participants can only register for one session.

More updates to come.
