Deputies in Greenville County are searching for a man who they say stole a forklift and attempted to break open an ATM.According to a Facebook post from the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect stole a Gehl forklift from the soon-to-be Chipotle located at 3645 Pelham Road.Deputies said it happened on Nov. 1. around 12:30 a.m.Following the theft, the suspect drove the forklift down the road to County Bank and tried to break open an ATM, deputies said.After the person couldn’t get in to the ATM, they left the area.Deputies are asking anyone with information regarding the person’s identity to contact Investigator Threlkeld at 864-467-8317, or Crime Stoppers of Greenville at 23-CRIME.
