Thank you for your interest in the High School Academy Program with Norton Healthcare and Trilogy Health Services.  We feel very fortunate that you have chosen us for this opportunity!  The program is an opportunity to explore two employers through hands-on health care experience, job shadowing opportunities, career coaching and symposiums.

To participate in the program, the following requirements must be met:

  1. Age 17 or older
  2. Participation in a health sciences academy pathway at a partnering school
  3. Completed confidentiality oath and authorization form signed by you (Parent/guardian must co-sign if you are under 18.)
  4. Parent/guardian attestation giving Norton Healthcare the right to share the student’s information with Trilogy Health Services
  5. Proof of tuberculosis (TB) test and flu shot (during flu season: Sept. 1 through May 31)
  6. Proof of immunity to measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (two shots required if never had disease); vaccinations for Tdap (within the last 10 years) and hepatitis B

Norton Healthcare High School Academy interns will work 12 or 20 hours per week, abiding by all Kentucky child labor laws, between Jan. 4, 2021, and May 15, 2021.
