Industrial park businesses report break-ins: North Ridgeville police blotter

NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio

Breaking and entering / stolen vehicle: Taylor Industrial Parkway

Officers responded to complaints at a business on October 5 and 6. The first incident was to report breaking and entering and theft, and the second to report a stolen vehicle. Suspects were identified in the stolen vehicle complaint and face charges of breaking and entering, theft and possessing criminal tools. At a separate business, police responded to an alarm and found evidence of breaking and entering on October 9. No suspects were identified.

Receiving stolen property: Olive Avenue

On September 29, police investigated a report of a motorized scooter taken from Cleveland that was in the city. Police located the scooter and returned it to the owner. A suspect was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property and vandalism.

Drunk driving: Alternate Ohio 83

Officers were dispatched for a report of a driver peeling out and revving the engine on October 8. The driver was charged with drunk driving, excessive blood alcohol content and expired registration. The passenger was charged with underage alcohol consumption.

Disorderly conduct: Lorain Road

On October 5, police responded to a road rage incident. A man was cited for disorderly conduct.

Stolen vehicle: Avon Belden Road

On October 8, a stolen car was dropped off in the parking lot of the police station. The owner was notified, and the car towed to Patton’s for storage.

Theft: Avon Belden Road

A resident reported to mini-bikes stolen from a portable garage on October 6.

Theft: Lorain Road

A business reported a moving truck stolen on October 7.
