Oklahoma vs. Texas score: Live game updates, college football scores, Red River Rivalry, NCAA coverage

The annual Red River Showdown in the Cotton Bowl between No. 22 Texas and Oklahoma has a must-win undertone for both teams. The Longhorns nor the Sooners can afford to get too far behind in the race for the Big 12 Championship Game. After one half, both teams are locked into a 17-17 tie in a mistake-riddled game.

Combined, the Sooners and Longhorns have four fumbles (three lost), two sacks, an interception, a blocked punt and 12 penalties. There’s also a bit of quarterback drama as Spencer Rattler has been replaced by Tanner Mordecai. Rattler threw one interception and lost another fumble in easily his worst half of football, but it also appeared trainers were looking at his right shoulder.

Texas, meanwhile, has been absolutely hammered by penalties — an extension of what has plagued this team through three games. Twice in the first half, Texas saw what would have been a fourth-and-short pushed back because of a penalty. The second half is sure to be filled with even more drama.

CBS Sports will be with you the entire way updating this story with the latest from Oklahoma vs. Texas on Saturday afternoon. Keep it locked here for live updates, highlights and more throughout the game.
