Police make arrests in early morning car break-ins: Medina Police Blotter

Trespassing/theft, Circle Drive

Police arrested several suspects in the early morning hours of Sept. 16 for breaking into cars. Police received reports Sept. 16 of suspicious persons and theft from cars from residents on Circle Drive, Old Farm Trail, Brookledge Drive, and Halifax Lane. The suspects were caught on a security camera on Old Farm Trail and later arrested for criminal trespassing and three counts of criminal mischief for entering cars.  Reports noted that “nothing of value” was taken from the cars.

Theft, W. Smith Road

Employees at a gas station reported that an unknown person drove off after pumping gas and not paying for it at 10:32 Sept. 17.

Traffic violation, N. Court Street

A driver was stopped at 3:03 p.m. Sept. 15 for weaving in traffic and was cited by police.

Threats, E. Washington Street

A man was arrested at 5:46 p.m. Sept. 15 for sending threatening text messages. There was no further information at the time of the report.

Assault, Andrews Road

A man was arrested for assault at 9:41 p.m. Sept. 15 when police responded to a fight call.

Assault Guilford Boulevard

A man was arrested for assault at 5:44 p.m. Sept. 16. There was no further information available at the time of the report.
