Pittsburgh Public Schools is providing in-person technology support for students and families that are having trouble navigating their E-learning devices starting on Wednesday. Families can visit the following five schools for technology assistance: Pittsburgh CAPA- 111 9th Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222Pittsburgh Carrick- 125 Parkfield Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15210Pittsburgh King- 50 Montgomery Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15212Pittsburgh Langley- 2940 Sheraden Boulevard, Pittsburgh, PA 15204Pittsburgh Obama- 515 N. Highland Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15206“These regional technology support hubs will assist families with their District-issued device needs,” Interim Chief Technology Officer Mark Stuckey said in a news release. “We want all PPS families to have secure, functional devices for E-Learning.”The district is encouraging families to make an appointment, but walk-ins will be accepted. Families can schedule an appointment by visiting www.pghschools.org/techsupportappt. Families must please bring their district-issued device, charger, and student log in information to the appointment. Appointments are scheduled in 20-minute increments, and families are asked to arrive ten minutes prior to the scheduled appointment. The technology resource centers will be open until Friday, Oct. 2, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Evening hours are available through appointment only.The district said families must practice social distancing and wear a mask during each appointment.
