Southborough Police Invesigating String of Vehicle Break-Ins


SOUTHBOROUGH – Multiple vehicle break-ins occurred in Southborough in the early morning hours of Wednesday, August 9, including on Strawberry Hill Road, Red Gate Lane, Parkerville Road (south), Skylar Drive, Ledge Hill Road, Gilmore Road, Highland Road, Banfill Lane, and Southville Road.

Southborough Police have current investigations into 20 vehicle break-ins, four vehicles stolen from residences and left in various locations and one stolen vehicle not yet recovered.

Southborough Police will join a MetroWest task force to investigate and apprehend members of the group responsible for the string of crimes in the area.

Police have advised residents not to approach any individual seen breaking into an automobile. Residents should consider these individuals armed and dangerous.
