BOONEVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) – The industrial and electrical industries are getting more advanced every year, and companies are in need of people who can keep up in both fields.

Students can choose to participate in one program or the other, instructors said obtaining skills in both disciplines will be better in the long run.

Students will work on the latest technology in areas like hydraulics and robotics.

Once students step out of the classroom, they can continue their hands-on learning through the school’s Tiger Apprenticeship Program.

It’s an opportunity student Ethan Spears said he’s taken full advantage of.

“I will probably continue to work at my apprenticeship until I’m ready,” he said. “And then I will try and move into a management role.”
