LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

1:35 P.M.
North Las Vegas police said they need help locating 46-year-old Kenneth Dedmon. He went missing at about 5:30 a.m. and was last seen near his home at 4630 Spruce Oak Drive. Dedmon suffers from a traumatic brain injury that eliminates short term memory. Anyone with more information on his whereabouts was urged to contact NLV police at 702-633-9111.

North Las Vegas Police Department

11:30 A.M.
The Clark County Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 3696 Barcelona Street. Callers reported that there was possibly an elderly person inside the home. Arriving units reported heavy smoke from the residence and an aggressive offensive attack was then initiated. Crews were able to locate and remove the person from the house. The person was unconscious and transported to the hospital with smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, with no other injuries reported.
