WARNING: SPOILERS FOR THE AGENTS OF SHIELD SERIES FINALE ARE BELOW
Agents of SHIELD came to a close tonight and for those who like to pretend that the series isn’t set in the MCU because they don’t want to be bothered by watching a TV series; the finally had a pretty major connection to Avengers: Endgame.
The mystery that ran all season of Fitz’s location was answered toward the half-way point of the two-hour finale. Fitz has been using the Quantum Realm to time travel among timelines to see multiple futures just like Doctor Strange. He didn’t just talk about the Quantum Realm, the Agents actually went there via their own custom Quantum Tunnel.
As for hints for the future? Daisy hints very strongly that she’s a member of SWORD. She and Sousa end up together…in space (she showed him E.T. to prepare him for it)!
