Victim alive but in critical condition
New Orleans police investigate what led to a 13-year-old boy to be shot in the head.
It happened Monday morning in the West End Neighborhood.
According to an NOPD news release, “The shooting occurred around 9:51 a.m. in the 400 block of 10th Street, near the corner of Fleur de Lis Drive and Veterans Memorial Boulevard.”

NOPD says the boy was transported to the hospital alive but in critical condition.
