PRISONERS have taken over Ware State Prison in Georgia — where ‘several active shooters’ along with fatalities are reported, Your Content is learning.

UPDATE — 3:09A (ET): Multiple agencies, including the Georgia Bureau of Investigation responded to a riot at the Ware County State Prison in Waycross, Action News 47 reports.

According to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, the riot unraveled at around 2:15 a.m. and now appears to be under control.

“The incident is under control and the facility is currently on lockdown,” The Georgia Department of Corrections said in a statement. “Two staff members received minor, non life-threatening injuries and there are no reported inmate injuries at this time.”

Further information from officials wasn’t immediately available, but multiple Facebook Live videos went out from men purporting to be inmates.
