The drama surrounding the family’s show, “Braxton Family Values” on WeTV proved too much for Tamar Braxton. In a scathing letter, obtained by The Blast, the star went in on network executives comparing them to “cruel white slave masters who once chained our forefathers.” She slammed them for exposing one of her deepest secrets and it made her suicidal. “You broke me that day and I considered ending my own life then for the shame I felt!” she wrote.
Tamar Braxton also claimed the network tore her family apart. Accusing them of turning the Braxton family from the “once happy” group to people who “fight with each other, betray each other, and now we’re physically assaulting each other,” she also said, the network chose to show “the absolute worst side of a strong, independent, and successful African American family.”
