BREAKING: Teenager stabbed in Little Hulton – latest updates

A teenager has been rushed to hospital with a serious stab wound following an attack in Little Hulton this afternoon.

Police and paramedics were called to Old Lane at around 2.30pm on Monday, June 8.

An air ambulance was also sent to the scene and landed in nearby Thornfield Grove around 15 minutes later.

A 19-year-old man was found with serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: “At around 2:30pm this afternoon (Monday 8 June 2020), police were called to reports of a man being stabbed on Old Lane.

“Emergency services attended and a 19-year-old man was taken to hospital with a serious stab wound. He remains there in a stable condition.

“No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.

“If anyone has any information, please call police on 0161 856 5187, quoting incident number 1419 of 08/06/2020.

“Reports can also be made anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”

Sam Rogers, who lives nearby, said: “I could only see the helicopter, my neighbour told me it was a suspected stabbing.

“A friend living nearby has just said apparently someone was pulled from the car and stabbed.

“There was an ambulance on the street at the back dog van arrived and then it turned around.”
