BREAKING: Orange County under curfew until further notice | West Orange Times & Observer

Following a day and evening of protests, Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings announced today a curfew in unincorporated Orange County.

The curfew will be in effect from 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. daily until further notice.

Unincorporated Orange County includes much of West Orange, including Horizon West.

The city of Orlando also will be under a curfew.

During demonstrations Saturday, May 30, looters damaged several stores in the Mall at Millenia area. Demonstrators also briefly shut down traffic on State Road 408 near Orange Blossom Trail.

In West Orange, there are reports of vandalism at West Oaks Mall in Ocoee.

This is a developing story. Check back for more details.
