Breaking: Murphy Eases Regulations; Gatherings Up to 25 People Now Allowed

TRENTON, NJ —  Fire up the grills for your Memorial Day BBQ.

Gov. Phil Murphy announced at his Friday press conference that he is signing a new Executive Order lifting the limit on outdoor gatherings from 10 to 25 individuals.

The governor reminded people that social distancing must be adhered to. Indoor gatherings remain limited to 10 people.

Recreational campgrounds – both public and private – are allowed to reopen, effective immediately. Capacity will also be raised to 25 individuals for: charter and fishing boats, outdoor batting cages, driving ranges, other outdoor recreational businesses.
