Business platform and marketplace provider BearingPoint//Beyond has opened a new technology centre in Dublin. The move is expected to create 50 jobs in the Irish capital by 2023.
BearingPoint//Beyond is a global business platform and marketplace provider, owned by consulting firm BearingPoint. It helps clients grow top-line revenues and transform their global industry by creating new solutions and new business models.
BearingPoint//Beyond’s digital technology platform is predominantly used by clients in the Telecommunications, Media, and Technology (TMT) and Automotive sectors to create partner ecosystems that accelerate innovation, launch and monetise new services and grow revenue at speed. Customers include Irish quad-play service provider Eir, BT in the UK, Austrian telco A1 Austria, Australian ISP iiNet, and NTT Group in Japan.
As the SaaS-based digital platform solution provider looks to expand its operations, it has opened a new Centre of Excellence in Dublin. The new locale is expected to create 50 new jobs over the next three years, and will improve support for new and existing BearingPoint//Beyond clients in the Nordics, Europe, Americas and Asia. The company intends to enhance its capabilities in engineering, quality assurance, customer engagement and service delivery management.

The Centre of Excellence in Dublin will be led by Daniel Byrne and he is leading the charge in hiring talented Project Managers, Solution and Software Architects, Developers, QA’s and DevOps/CICD. He brings over 20 years of experience as a management and technology consultant, having served with firms such as Microsoft, Barclays Capital and Oz Management, advising clients across many counties and industries on strategy, business, technology and operating models.
The development sees BearingPoint//Beyond become the latest in a long line of professional services entities to attempt to draw on Dublin’s diverse and highly skilled technology talent base. Firms such as EY, PwC, Accenture, and even parent firm BearingPoint have each sought to benefit from the area’s thriving tech scene in the last three years.
