The New Rules hitmaker recently gushed about the happy baby news after the model Gigi confirmed she is five months pregnant with her first child.
While making an appearance on New Zealand radio station The Edge, Dua was asked: ‘Technically, you’re going to be an auntie?’
‘Yeah,’ the star confirmed. ‘It’s very exciting news. We’re very, very excited.’

Playing coy, Dua laughed and said: ‘Ah you guys are really putting me in a… not long! not long!’
After being pressed, the New Rules star admitted she knew about the pregnancy ‘a little bit’ before it was confirmed on Wednesday.

‘Thank you so much,’ Gigi said after Jimmy congratulated her on the pregnancy. ‘Obviously we wish we could have announced it on our own terms, but we’re very excited and happy and grateful for everyone’s well wishes and support.’
Gigi, who is thought to be having a girl, was appreciative she was able to fully experience her pregnancy, now that she’s forced to stay indoors due to quarantine.
‘I’m trying, and especially during this time, it’s a nice silver lining to be able to be home and together and really experience it day by day,’ she said.
Gigi also revealed she had been craving everything bagels during her pregnancy, and had been having one everyday.
Speaking of her 25th birthday, which she spent with family on her mother Yolanda Foster’s Pennsylvania farm, Gigi said she was delighted to have an everything birthday bagel cake on her special day.
‘We did a breakfast party of like a few people, and then a dinner party of the same few people, so we tried to make it a day.
‘But yeah, in the morning, my family brought out an everything bagel cake, which already blew my mind because my craving has been everything bagels.

TMZ confirmed the pregnancy on Wednesday morning, saying that the pair are expecting a baby girl.
The report was made amid rampant speculation from fans, who had noted that Gigi’s birthday celebration featured pink balloons, pink ‘Hello Little One’ gift bags and pink cakes.
Her mother Yolanda confirmed the pregnancy on Wednesday and admitted to being ‘still shocked’ over it, but said: ‘Of course we are so excited.
‘I’m so excited to become a grandmother in September especially after I lost my mom so recently.’ she told Dutch broadcasting station RTL Boulevard.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum added: ‘But this is the beauty of life, one soul leaves us and a new one comes in. We feel very blessed. I can’t wait to be a grandmother.’
Gigi, who has been dating Zayn on-off since 2015, previously envisioned herself becoming a mother.
‘I think that as I get older – well, one day I’ll start a family and I don’t know if I will always be modeling,’ she told i-D magazine in February.
‘I love the creative side of fashion, it’s so fulfilling. The people I work with make me so happy, I’m so lucky to be around them. But who knows? Maybe I’ll take up full-time cooking!’
