Today, the Eureka City Council announced that City Manager Dean Lotter is on Administrative Leave.
Effective immediately, Pam Powell, City Clerk, will assume the role and responsibilities of Acting City
Manager.City Clerk Powell was appointed to the City Clerk position in 2009 and has worked in Eureka City
Government since 1993. At Council’s direction, Acting City Manager Powell will continue to lead the
remaining COVID-19 response and begin taking the actions necessary to safely move our community,
and our economy, forward.No additional information can be provided at this time.
