Rochester Youth Tech Foundation looking to give more laptops to students in need

“There is a problem honestly, an increasing tough problem as more and more school districts around the country are going to online google classrooms, and kids are being left behind. There’s a technology gap there where we really need to support all kids and their learning,” John Burtucz, a computer science teacher at RPS said.

Burtucz said that if you have a spare laptop to donate, you can go to the Rochester Downtown Alliance Monday through Friday during normal business hours to drop it off.

He also said if you want to help sponsor an internet HotSpot for a student in need, you can donate monthly or, make a one-time donation.
