Logan City Police were able to link Kenneth Lee Pyper, age 39, to a recent vandalism spree on Friday.
On March 18, 2020, the Logan man was accused of breaking windows at Mount Logan Middle School, two churches, two businesses, and several vehicles – all in about 90 minutes. One witness told police they saw Pyper throwing rocks and that’s when they called 911. According to court documents, the witness followed Pyper down the street who eventually caught on. He was able to escape from view of officers near Cache Valley Bank near 101 North Main Street.
Further investigation and surveillance linked Pyper’s clothing to match the suspects. The damages were estimated to be $4,000, according to court documents. He has been charged with 11 counts of criminal mischief.
