M48 Severn Bridge closed eastbound due to strong winds
The M48 Severn Bridge is closed eastbound due to strong winds. The closure is between Junction Two with the A466 Wye Valley Link Road at Chepstow and Junction One with the A403 at Aust.
The bridge is closed to all traffic heading into England. It is open to all vehicles heading into Wales, except high-sided vehicles, motorcycles and vehicles towing. Those lane closures are in place for safety reasons.
There is a diversion via the M4 Prince of Wales Bridge.
