2020 Super Bowl score: Chiefs vs. 49ers live updates, NFL game highlights, halftime show, start time

The Lombardi Trophy is up for grabs Sunday night in Miami as the Kansas City Chiefs battle the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV at Hard Rock Stadium. It looked as if the 49ers would start with the momentum after the NFC champions forced an early Chiefs three-and-out and quickly drove down the field for a 38-yard field goal. However, Kansas City responded with a 15-play, 75-yard touchdown drive, including a fourth-down conversion inside the 10 that led to a Patrick Mahomes 1-yard score for a 7-3 lead at the end of one quarter.

More than the title on the line as both the Chiefs and 49ers have the opportunity to make history with a victory in this Super Bowl. San Francisco can tie New England and Pittsburgh with an NFL-record six Super Bowl titles if it wins. Kansas City hasn’t been to the Big Game in 50 years since it won Super Bowl IV in 1969.
