Today, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Delhi Chief Minister and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal will hold multiple roadshows in Delhi ahead of the much-awaited assembly elections in the national capital.

Elections to the 70-member Delhi Assembly promises to be a triangular contest with the AAP hoping to retain power on the plank of development and the BJP and the Congress determined to put up a spirited challenge. The voting for the assembly polls in Delhi will be done on February 8 while the counting of votes will take place on February 11.

Here are the highlights of January 27:

17:15 pm: DMRC: Entry/Exit at Central Secretariat will be allowed from Gate No 1 only from 2 to 4 PM while other gates will remain closed during this period. Interchange from Yellow to Violet Line (Kashmere Gate-Raja Nahar Singh) and vice versa will be allowed at the station during this period.

17:15 pm: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC): On occasion of Beating Retreat ceremony on 29th Jan, metro services at 2 stations of Yellow Line(Samaypur Badli-HUDA City Centre)won’t be available as per timings given below:

1. Udyog Bhawan: 2 to 6.30 PM
2. Central Secretariat: 4 to 6.30 PM

17:01 pm: Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal holds a roadshow in Gandhinagar area. Navin Choudhary (Deepu) is the AAP candidate from Gandhinagar assembly constituency.
