BREAKING: Skeletal Remains Found in Shiloh Identified as Missing Philipsburg Man

BRADFORD TOWNSHIP – Clearfield County Coroner Kim Shaffer-Snyder has identified the human skeletal remains that were found in late October in Bradford Township.

Shaffer-Snyder said that the remains were identified through dental records as being 35-year-old Vincent Scott Marcinko from Philipsburg.

“The cause of death is still undetermined at this time because of the conditions of the remains,” Snyder said. “The investigation is ongoing.”

The remains were discovered Oct. 25 by a hunter in a wooded area off Graham Road in Shiloh, according to a previously-published GANT News article.

In a missing person’s report in July, state police said Marcinko was dropped off at a Graham Road residence on June 24. He was reportedly last seen when he left on foot on June 27.

No further information is available at this time.
