Met Office forecast for Monday
Starting with the weather and it is not a great day for people going back to work for the first time after the Christmas break. Here is the forecast for Wales:
A grey and damp start. Turning wet and windy as heavy rain arrives late morning. Local gales expected at times, although winds will ease as the rain clears. Becoming colder in the brighter spells that follow late afternoon. Maximum temperature 11 °C.
Tonight, a mostly clear and dry night across the country. This will allow temperatures to drop with some frost and fog patches developing in sheltered spots, particuarly in the south. Minimum temperature 1 °C.
