Mental health evaluation ordered for man accused of killing Fort Dodge pastor

WEBSTER COUNTY, Iowa. (KWWL) – A judge has ordered a mental health evaluation for 36-year-old Joshua Pendleton.

Pendleton is accused of killing Allen Henderson, 64.

In October of 2019, police were called to the 400 block of south 13th Street in Fort Dodge.

That’s where they found Henderson, he had been assaulted.

After an investigation, police arrested Pendleton.

He’s charged with first-degree murder and first-degree robbery.
