HADLEY — A vehicle break-in and suspicious person observed in the area of Highland Circle, a subdivision between Rocky Hill and Huntington roads, is prompting a reminder from police to keep car doors locked and valuables, including electronics and loose change, out of sight.

In a post on the department’s Facebook page Monday, Sgt. Michael Romano wrote that a resident that morning reported a suspicious person attempting to get into an unlocked vehicle in a driveway.

That incident was followed by another resident later in the day calling police after discovering that an unlocked vehicle had been entered overnight.

The break-in and attempted break-in are both under investigation.

Residents are advised to report any suspicious activity and those with security cameras are welcome to provide footage to the department.
