Southwestern Vermont Health Care’s Jingle Bell raises $70,000

Vermont Business Magazine The 6th Annual Jingle Bell on December 7 at the Mount Snow Grand Summit Resort Hotel in Dover, VT, hosted a crowd of 189 people and raised more than $70,000 for Southwestern Vermont Health Care (SVHC) and the SVMC Deerfield Valley Campus.

“We truly enjoyed bringing our friends and neighbors from the Deerfield Valley together for this special night in support of high quality care in our communities,” said Leslie Keefe, SVHC’s vice president for corporate development. “We are grateful for the event’s success and for the generosity of our sponsors, the hard work and enthusiasm of the Jingle Bell Committee, and eager support from attendees.”

The evening began with a cocktail reception and continued with an elegant dinner and a live auction. The program concluded with the Putnam Challenge, a call to emulate the generosity of hospital founders Henry W. Putnam and his son. Funds raised at this event’s Putnam Challenge support SVMC Deerfield Valley Campus, specifically. Guests ended the evening by dancing to the renowned 10-piece band, The New York Players.

The Jingle Bell Committee included Sarah Fisher, Crista Gannon, Amy Goodermote, Carolyn Lucas, Bruce Mullen, Nancy Mullen, Arlene Palmiter, Shelley Park, Kristen Wallace, and Mark Wallace.

The event was successful in part due to the generous support from sponsors, including Title Sponsor Mack Molding; Presenting Sponsors Inn at Manchester, Mount Snow Grand Summit Resort Hotel, Salem Dentistry, and Trane; and Lead Sponsors Hays Companies, Nancy Kimball, Walker Kimball, and People’s United Bank. Many supporting and host sponsors contributed, as well.
